We loves us some nostalgia drag racing here at BangShift.com and two of our very favorite events are the NHRA National Hot Rod Reunion and the NHRA California Hot Rod Reunion. Tony, Greg and the staff at the Wally Parks Motorsports Museum break their humps to put on great events and we break ours to bring them to you. They recently announced the dates for the 2011 CHRR and NHRR.
We’ll be there to cover the events, YOU should be there to see them in person as we’ve not perfected the BangShift smell-o-vision angle of our live broadcasts. As hotels book up beyond quickly around these two races, now is your chance to get ahead of the curve and book your trip to either Bowling Green for the NHRR or historic Bakersfield for the CHRR at Famoso Raceway. NHRR will take place June 16-18 and CHRR will take place Oct. 21-23
POMONA, CA—“Start your engines and plan ahead for next year, race fans!” said Reunion Director Tony Thacker, “The new dates for the 2011 Reunions were selected to best accommodate NHRA race fans, and we’ll be better than ever in 2011.”
In 2011, the Holley NHRA National Hot Rod Reunion will now take place on Thursday through Saturday, June 16-18 at Beech Bend Raceway in Bowling Green, KY. The new dates will provide Reunion fans more action on the track with night racing on Friday and allow fans to spend Father’s Day with family.
In 2011, the 20th Anniversary California Hot Rod Reunion will take place on Friday through Sunday, Oct. 21-23 at the Auto Club Famoso Raceway in McFarland, CA.

The HOT ROD REUNION™ is a series of events produced by the Wally Parks NHRA Motorsports Museum, presented by the Automobile Club of Southern California, and located in Pomona, Calif.
