File this under, “Stuff we want to piss off the neighborhood with” although we certainly have enough junk that already does it, this would be pefect for barnstorming the sidewalks and front yards of people who we can normally only get to with tire smoke from the road. We were tipped off to this awesome little creation by a BS sponsor operative. We won’t reveal his identity but be assured that he does not work for a new BS sponsor that produces the finest alternators and starters in the aftermarket. He’s also an incorrigible like us.
Sporting a 7hp engine and the handling characteristics of well, a shopping cart, this baby has a set of handle bars that look as though they might have some from an industrial motorized fertilizer spreader we’re not sure if turning is achieved by rotating them or leaning them back and forth, but with 7hp on tap this creation should move out pretty well. Look at the engines that power the racing karts and many indoor and out door “arrive and drive” facilities and they’re in that range. Of course it may be geared down, but we hope not. Is there a class for this at ECTA events? We’ll look into that.
The truly ace move would be to literally drive this thing into a supermarket, load it with stuff, and cruise out. Who’s got the guts to do it (and the $1,000 to buy it!)
