eBay Find: This Forlorn Camaro Station Wagon Project Could Be Yours…And We Can Help!

eBay Find: This Forlorn Camaro Station Wagon Project Could Be Yours…And We Can Help!

Our buddy Jared and the crew at Fast On Wheels are building a pretty bad ass 1969 Camaro wagon that is sure to have the public talking loud when it hits the streets and show circuit. This is not that car, but it is a Camaro station wagon. The vehicle is for sale on eBay currently and it is located in Massachusetts, so if some enterprising BangShifter needs a closer look, we’re your guys. The car looks like it was an older build that has been languishing for some time but it would certainly make for a unique cruiser when fixed up enough to run. Of course there are some foibles like the fact that it is missing the cowl VIN tag, has no registration paperwork, and by the seller’s admission the car has rot and needs a full resto. How bitchin’ would this baby be as a drag car? That would negate the paperwork hassle of getting VIN tags, titles, etc. Plus you’d have the only one around.

The car is a 1968 Camaro but it has 1969 quarter panels on it and then the wagon portion which is of unknown origin. Maybe some Vega Kammback parts involved? The interior has some 1969 pieces as well and interestingly it has a fully functional back seat. We would have liked a photo of the interior from the back hatch forward to see what the rear area looked like. At one point this was a running and driving car because it has a motor with some sweet, sweet, chrome valve covers and like we said, a full interior.

Yes, currently it is a ugly freak show and the seller isn’t really denying any of that, which is refreshing as lots of time we see people trying to up sell something that is obviously not what it is being hyped as. Somewhere Chad is angrily crying while looking at these photos.

it wouldn’t be bad but that damn roof. it looks like they put a hood from a larger car on it and welded it down.

Some body work and paint, this thing would ROCK! I like something different! Taking a pristeen Camaro and doing this would be a Cardinal Sin! But hashing together a buncha junkyard parts to create something no one else has, is the root of our hobby! Like the slotted mags and 4 speed idea, but needs a tunnel ram, too!
