With tonight being the “big night” with respect to visits from Santa Claus, we’re too late to edit our wish list. In the event we had another week or two, this kick ass little tracked truck, equipped with a 7′ snow plow would be at the top. We’ve never seen one of these babies before, but after close inspection of the ad and the myriad of photos within it, we’re craving us some small tracked goodness.
We initially thought that it was some sort of weenie modified golf kart or something, but according to the seller, this is a scratch built vehicle, created by a company named ASV out of the normally snow banked Minnesota. It sports a 2.8L Isuzu diesel that is hooked to a Hydrostatic transmission. Out front is an 80″ Sno-Way plow. There cannot be many of these floating around in the hands of “normal” people. We’re guessing most of them, the small number we assume were produced, ended up in the hands of ski resorts and other work atmospheres.
It has a hydraulic boom lift on the back for lifting stuff, like stuck cars, frozen bodies, stranded skiers, or other snow related stuff. By the looks of the machine in the ad and the accompanying video, it is very close to “as new” condition.
Whaddya think Santa, can you make a late inning change to your list?
