Our pals at MSD are currently cruising with the rest of the crazed gearheads on the 2011 Hot Rod Magazine Power Tour, and they are doing it in their kick ass 2005 Cadillac CTS-V. This will be the car’s swan song as it has been put up for sale on eBay. Packing nearly 600hp at the wheels courtesy of a custom built, ProCharged LS motor, the car was designed to swallow upscale European sedans whole, and boy, does it ever!
Not one facet of the car went untouched, and what resulted from all the hard work was a machine that is refined, classy, and faster than all get out. This truly is a velvet glove that conceals a pair of brass knuckles. Having seen and hung out with the car in person a couple of times, we can vouch for the fact that it looks just as good in person as it does in the photos.
We’re excited to see what MSD will build next to take the place of the CTS-V, as this car has been like an anvil, serving the crew without fail or fault for years of road trips and hi-jinx!
Due to the custom nature of the motor, the car may not be legal in states with stringent inspection requirements. Make sure to do your homework if you want to own this baby and you live in a locked down inspection state!
