While patrolling eBay for truck parts that we can use on our project truck Goliath, we happened upon a very neat and ultra rare Chevy truck that we wish we could afford. It’s a 1966 crew cab shortbed, said to be one of only 130 made, and would be an awesome family and parts hauler.
We especially like it because it is packing a straight-six and a four-speed. The truck is a half-ton, two-wheel-drive piece so it isn’t exactly an ideal vehicle for our New England headquarters, but it is perfect for its current home in San Diego. It will probably run until the end of time, as well.
Since it is in primer, we get to choose the paint. We’re going with torch red. Click here to see the eBay auction.
