We’re now just a few short months away from the ECTA’s first event at the newly named Ohio Mile in Wilmington, Ohio. Just recently, the ECTA released new information to competitors and fans about the layout of the track itself, some basic rules for the venue regarding parking and camping and several maps to illustrate exactly the way things are going to work.
The April event being the first run at the new venue, the ECTA is working super hard to make it as seemless a transition as possible. We know they want to make a great impression to the people who granted them access to the facility as well as to the racers who have run with them for years at their former home in Maxton, NC.
Keith, Tonya, Joe, and Donna, along with all the rest of the volunteer help at the ECTA are busting hump to get it all ready for April and the Hot Rod Top Speed Challenge. We’re planning on being there to check out all the action, see what shows up, and depending on how we play our cards, perhaps banging gears behind the wheel of something.
