Event Coverage: 46 Photos of OCCA’s 2009 Great Labor Day Cruise

Every Labor Day weekend for the past 26 years the Orange County Cruisin’ Association has put on the three day Great Labor Day Cruise, and the 27th running of the event promised even more fun than ever before. This year’s show included a show-n-shine, autocross, cackle fest, model car contest, live music and much more. BangShift.com forum member Scott Liggett (RebelDryver) was on hand to shoot photos and give us all the dirt. Check out the gallery below.

Held at the Orange County Fairgrounds in Costa Mesa, Ca., the fantastic facility is transformed into a giant campground and car show that you won’t find anywhere else. The Great Labor Day Cruise had room for hundreds of motorhomes and more than 3000 show cars attended over the three days. Even with all these RVs and show cars, there was plenty room left over for cruising around the grounds in the cool customs, classics, muscle cars, and hot rods. The beauty of this show is that it’s held over the three day weekend, and makes for a great family holiday. If you didn’t make it out for this year’s event, make sure you are there next year.

As usual, we need to thank all the sponsors of this years event, including

Barry’s Speed Shop, Global West, Magnaflow, Port-a-cool, Bendpack, and QA1.
