RJ Fab Tech Talk: Custom Headers Explained – Rob Lindsay Goes Over Tips, Tricks, And Proven Methods For Custom Header Fabrication.

You may not have heard of RJ Fab, but you’ve probably seen something they have built. When Rob Lindsay started RJ Fab a few decades ago I doubt he thought he’d build a brand that covered so many cool builds in so many different disciplines, but this guy can do it all. From Pro Mods to Pre-Runners, Pro Touring machines to custom UTVs, and everything in between, if it needs custom fabrication then Rob has got it handled. And man do they build some sexy stuff. If you like weld porn and quality without excuses, they’ve got it covered. I bring up their reputation and quality so you’ll know that they know what they are talking about, and thankfully they are willing to share some of that knowledge.

In the video below, Rob is talking about custom headers. And he’s not bashing on off the shelf headers, just commenting on why you might want custom headers and how to build them when you do. It’s not a step by step how to, but more a tips, tricks, and thought process kind of video that can give you some insight into what it takes so you can tackle a set yourself. Or not! Even if you don’t want to build your own headers, knowing these things will help you make a better choice when hiring someone to build them for you. Being better educated on what it takes not only keeps your expectations real, but lets you spot a BS artist as well.

So check out the video below and let us know what you think. Will you build your own headers after watching?
