We’re back with more sweet, sweet photo action from the 2013 Optima Ultimate Street Car Shootout autocross competition. The field is so big that we split the autocross action into two groups of photos so you could soak it all in without going into a coma from an overload of awesome. In this group you’ll see stuff like modified Panteras, a Mustang bodied GT40, killer old trucks, and even exotics like a Mercedes SLS AMG and Lamborghini.
If there is anything that the Optima Ultimate Street Car Shootout shows the greater automotive world is that there is lots of ways to skin a cat when it comes to getting a car to turn. As we mentioned, some of the most technologically advanced cars in the world are literally battling with classic American muscle cars and in this case of this year’s event, classic trucks. You’ll see a couple trucks in this gallery and for us, that’s the best. If you have a C10 that can outperform a Lamborghini on an autocross course you have achieved BangShift hero status forever.
This is a cool gallery of car getting hammered on and that’s the best way to see them. No one builds cars like this to collect dust and these things aren’t collecting it, they’re throwing it all over the place!
