There are some really trick looking parts here at the 2013 PRI Show, and about 8 jillion people as well. This is probably the largest gathering of racers, crew, builders, and manufacturers in the racing world, and they are all clamoring for the latest deal on the newest parts and machines. We can’t even explain the difference in atmosphere here compared to any other trade show we’ve attended before. It’s serious, but at the same time sort of a reunion for many racers as the racing seasons ended a few weeks ago and this is the first time many guys have seen each other since trading paint, holeshotting each other, or getting in one last slidejob pass on the inside during the racing season. Many won’t see each other again until they meet up in the pits at the first race of 2014, so now is the time to get in a few more jabs or tell a few more stories.
The racers that are here, at the 2013 PRI Show, range from the Saturday night dirt track racer or local bracket racer all the way up to Pros like Alan Johnson, 3 time Indy 500 Winner Bobby Unser, Wayne Jesel, and Don Garlits. The Street Outlaws guys are also on hand, and it turns out they are huge BangShift fans which we dig of course.
