(Photos by Bryan McTaggart) – Beech Bend Raceway in Bowling Green, Kentucky is one of our favorite drag strips on Earth but the crappy part is that the place is like a literal black hole for internet access. We had major league problems with our live broadcast because of a lack of suitable connection and we were even dragging in the photo posting department. That wasn’t due to a lack of effort from McTaggart and Wickam. That was because we physically could not get their photos posted. Anyway, enough crying about our first world problems here and some rejoicing over the fact that we have awesome car show and swap meet photos for you.
There are some “dos and don’ts” in this car show gallery from the event and we’re sure that you’ll be able to spot them. We’ll even hint to you what one of them is and it is pretty simple. A mouse will NEVER be an elephant. When you see the photos we are referring to you’ll get that last line lock, stock, and barrel. We can report that the cartoon rat rod movement seems to be on the ropes or maybe worse. There were always a couple dozen of those suckers in the show and we saw less than half of that this year.
