It seems impossible but I’m starting to run out of photos to post from the 2015 Grand National Roadster Show. After the hundreds and hundreds I have posted this week, I am going to need to tag Chad in for tomorrow so he can start to share the stuff that he shot at the show after I left town. As you’d probably expect my favorite stuff to check out were the old drag race style cars and the more traditionally styled hot rods. I don’t mean the really beat up looking stuff but more like the fully fendered Ford with the hemi in it below. Cars like that really spin my crank because they aren’t totally overdone, they don’t fall into some modern trend, and they look like they could be driven across town or across the country at the drop of the hat.
As far as the drag race stuff goes, see that Pontiac above? That’s top shelf iron in my book. The tri-power engine and four speed along with the great paint color and steel wheels make that a package I’d sell a kidney for. I got weak in the knees when I rounded a corner and saw that large barge sitting there. I spent a while looking it over and admiring all of the cool lines that the car has. That split grill and the Tri-Power logos on the fenders are pretty much sublime.
