(Photos by David Whealon) – The other day we dropped some prime knowledge and photos on you from the Mule City 300 pull. This event was held at GALOT Motorsports Park in North Carolina and the premier facility drew out some of the biggest names in the sport. The variety of equipment hooking to the sled in competition was awesome and our man David Whealon was there to shoot the heck out of the event.
From the long wheelbase trucks to the stubby little mini-roads, the pulling world has as much variety and creativity as any other form of motorsports in the world. The only other place on Earth you can see as many supercharged engines outside of pulling is the drag strip. The major difference is that your eardrums are punished for a longer time at the pulls as the screaming engines are’t running away from you at 200mph. Instead they are hunkered down and working hard a low speed.
We love this stuff and we love the vehicles used to complete the job. Check these images out!
