(Photos courtesy of Optima Batteries) – Mark Stielow was the winner of the 2012 Optima Ultimate Street Car Invitational last weekend, wading through the diverse and awesome field of cars and trucks in Parhump, Nevada. The annual OUSCI is the baddest ass, double throwdown, all hanging out, Pro Touring event in the world. It pits the best cars, the best builders, and some of the most fantastic privateer projects known to mankind against each other in a series of events to determine which car or truck is the most capable performer of the bunch. As proof of the event’s mystique and popularity, one of the most hotly anticipated events of the SEMA show every year is the announcement of the lucky 10 people that will be invited via “golden ticket” to compete.
We’ll be back with more details and a breakdown on just how Mark Stielow’s “Mayhem” 1967 Camaro won the event (and it was a squeaker!) but for now, hit the links below to see the fantastic galleries we got courtesy of the fine people at Optima Batteries!
