(Words and photos by Doug Gregory) – Edgewater Sports Park is a very active dragstrip under NHRA sanction. Over the years its been host to many large events and saw many big time professionals come through their gates. The area is a park-like setting with plenty of trees and large grandstands on either side of the first 330ft. They do both 1/8th and ¼ mile racing. They host several heads up events and some of the UMTR (stick-shift-only) events. This is the 2nd half of the show area photos we snapped.
