Car Show Gallery: 43rd annual Early Ford V8 Club Car Show & Swapmeet at the Fitchburg Airport – Fitchburg, MA

(Photos by Johnny Gaudette) – For more than 40-years the Early Ford V8 Car Club has been putting on a well known car show in Fitchburg, Massachusetts and this year, BS contributor Johnny Gaudette was on the scene with his camera to blast photos of the cool  iron that showed up. The event featured a swap meet along with the show and appears to be open to all makes and models as you’ll see everything from traditional hot rods to muscle cars, vintage trucks, and some iron that’s barely old enough to shave. The Fitchburg Airport is a cool place for hot rodders in this area as the facility also hosts 330′ drags during the Orange Drag Strip Reunion later in the summer. Hot rodding and air ports have always gone together like bread and butter so it is great to see that tradition continue, especially with a show that has been going for more than four decades!

Johnny did a great job with the 90+ photos he sent us and you’ll see some stuff you dig in there, we guarantee it! We’re not sure if we want the keys to the Buick wagon, blue deuce, or Torino NASCAR tribute more!

  1. CTX-SLPR

Just find it ironic that the lead photo is of a relatively rare ’62 Buick LeSabre wagon at an event called Early Ford V8. To bad there isn’t more info on that wagon, hard to tell if it’s been done up under the hood with a bigger/badder nailhead than the stock 364.

owning a 90’s car in these times is usually the coolest thing. How I wish I had one
