There’s nothing like an old school car show at an old school location. During the formative years of the hot rod crazy, National Guard Armory buildings proved to be among the most popular places for clubs to hold shows. The Rusty Nuts car club still keeps this going with their annual Jalopyrama charity car show and Joe Grippo was there to document the field of bitchin’ entires for us.
Sporting a cut off of 1962, this show is designed to highlight traditional rods and customs. It is an indoor/outdoor event as well, with some hand picked “feature” cars inside and a great field of everything else outside. We dig this gallery because it is humongous, bordering on 250 photos, and because there are several car and motor combos we have never seen before and cannot identify!
Thanks to Joe for the photos!
