Chicago area photo contributor Greg Rourke recently hit up the 2011 Elburn, Illinois Lions Club Classic Car show and sent us 200 photos back for the gallery. Like here in New England, the car show and cruising season is winding to a close in Chi-town. Greg reports that this is one of the last big shows of the year and thankfully it was a beautiful day with old car friendly temps in the 50 degree range.
There’s a great variety of iron in this gallery from brass era cars that laid the foundation for today’s automobiles to muscle cares with ultra rare parts (see the photo below). The show was a smashing success, raising a pile of money for local charities and the people they work to help.
