For 33 years the Wheels of Tim Rod and Custom Jamboree has been taking place. This year, one of our Pennsylvanian photo dudes, Doug Garrison hit the show with his camera and sent us back more than 100 great photos from the event. Open to stuff 1969 and older, there are lots of great rods and customs, along with some muscle cars to oogle at.
The show does a lot of great work raising money for local charities and they even have a yearly scholarship program that rewards high achieving students at a local vocational/technical high school. That’s good stuff and so much of the car hobby is based around helping people both in the hobby and in the local community, this show reinforces that.
Take a look at the car we stuck at the bottom of this page. Do you know what the hell it is or what the hell it started as? Obviously some type of wild custom/one off creation, is seems like a styling exercise by a major design house or even a manufacturer. Maybe a rogue designer or engineer decided to go off the reservation and create something wild? You tell us, then click the gallery link!
