When we got invited to attend a car show held in the backyard of the home of a local business owner, we weren’t sure what to expect. How many friends can this guy have? Was it going to be a small gathering that Goliath would be out of place at? Turns out the dude has a LOT of friends and at least 200 cars rolled onto the lawn of his place ranging from Ferraris to a VW bug with a Chevy big block in it that looked 90 different types of deadly and awesome all at once.
We had a blast hanging out all afternoon and the kids were in heaven as well. There was a beautiful old Mack fire engine for them to play on, a true vintage quarter-midget they could play in, and a cavernous limo that was also interactive.
Goliath got some good attention, especially when we were leaving the tight quarters of the show with the Armstrong steering in the truck. People got a kick out of us working the tiller lock to lock as we deftly weaved between Corvettes, an Avanti, and something else worth more than our house.
