We’ve been semi-regular visitors to the Mass Cruisers humongous car show that runs on a bi-weekly schedule at the Bass Pro Shops store in Foxboro, Massachusetts. Most recently, after a harrowing day of mid-Autumn weather, we were certain that no one was showing up. Luckily for us, we were wrong and a few hundred diehards braved the forty degree temps and rain drenched roads for one last hurrah for the 2010 cruising season.
Reduced from the normal 2,000 (yes we said 2,000) car count, it was still a pretty bitchin’ gathering of everything from a 1940 GMC tow truck to what looked to be a legit Ford GT40. We were surprised by a couple of unique Mopar products that had far more punch under their hoods than we expected and our thoughts that the cool factor of 1970s luxo-barges is on the rise were buoyed by a few on hand.
We checked everything out and have more than 100 photos from the gathering in a gallery, which you can see by hitting the link below. Not surprisingly, we were madly in love with the 1940 GMC tow truck that had a manual crank crane on the back of it!
