The cherry was effectively placed on the top of the cruising season in New England last week with the last running of the Mass. Cruisers Association Bass Pro Shops Cruise. This is the largest cruise night on the Eastern Seaboard, drawing more than 2,000 cars every two weeks. Not wanting to miss out on the last big gearhead function of the year, we piled into my father in law’s 1969 GTX and headed to the show.
We found everything from an awesome old Mack B-61 to a new Lotus to the most bitchin’ 1970s period street machine Hemi Challenger you could ever want to see. A tunnel ram equipped hemi, yellow ladder bars, Cragar SS/T wheels which were wayyyy to wide out back and an ass high stance had us drooling. You’ll see the car in the gallery, and we included a shot of it below. Pure win.
