Rain totally sucks. It kills attendance at shows, closes the drag strip, and makes working on your junk outside a deplorable experience. Doug Garrison, our intrepid Pennsylvanian photog, donned his slicker and hit two events at the tail end of Labor Day weekend. Both the Country Cruisers and Kauffmann’s Chicken Farm car shows happened, but attendance was knocked down hard due to bad weather. We salute those that believed their cars to be non-soluble and headed out anyway.
Doug blasted great photos at both events. Rather than make two small galleries, we’ve decided to jam them all together into one bigger photo collection for you to gawk at. Hit the link below and fear not, you won’t get wet!
And my dad drove a ’65 Volkswagen. 40 horse. No wonder I turned out to be a pussy.
