It was a fun night when we loaded the kids up and headed south from BangShift East Coast HQ in Goliath to the Connecting Rods Car Club Cruise Night last week. It was especially cool when we were bumping our way across the show field when some dude started yelling, “GOLIATH! BangShift.com!” The big green truck smiled just a little, we know it.
This cruise rules because we saw a Bantam bodied hot rod, looking like a street legal fuel altered, a 1960s era B67 Mack dump truck, and a dude in a customized 1958 Impala barfing flames out the exhause pipes. There were a few hundred cars at the cruise, down from the last crowd, mainly due to skies that were gray at best for most of the afternoon.
