Pottstown, PA was known as a crazy cruising and street racing capital for decades until the man cracked down on all forms of automotive tom foolery and things went sadly silent. Then slowly, starting in the early 1990s, the cars and fun started to trickle back into Pottsville with the “Great Pottstown Cruise”, a big car show and series of events that has turned into four days of awesome fun every year.
Our man Doug Garrison was on the scene and blasted hundreds of photos of the show for all of you out there in readerland to enjoy. Hit the link below to see nearly 200 snaps from the show. Doug has a great eye and he had a busy weekend. You’ll be seeing more of his work later today!

And my dad drove a ’65 Volkswagen. 40 horse. No wonder I turned out to be a pussy.
Nice pictures of a great cruise?Ǫ.. but the location is Pottstown not Pottsville!
The cruise it organized by the Pottstown Classics Car Club and they have a cruise the first Saturday of every month during the summer.
