One of the largest regularly occurring cruise nights in the nation has opened its 2013 season! The Mass. Cruisers Association cruise night at the Bass Pro Shops located in the massive Patriots Place complex opened with a huge turnout yesterday. This Foxboro, Massachusetts based cruise night regularly draws 2,000-3,000 cars on a bi-weekly basis from April all the way through October. We headed over in the Buford T Justice Caprice as well as with a 1969 GTX owned by another member of the BS family. At the show, a couple people actually recognized Buford and came up to chat and we ever ran across a couple of dudes rocking BangShift gear! It was a cool night, but that didn’t stop a ton of cars from showing up. The cool thing about this night is that you can see new McLaren super cars, classic muscle cars, weirdo furrin’ stuff, race cars, pro street, pro touring, and pro ugly stuff like Buford T Justice all sitting side by side. It is a low key deal that has grown into a massive “must do” event every couple of weeks. Now that our junk runs good enough to make the trip to the show, we’re going to be regulars.
The Mass Cruisers Association needs to be applauded for their management of the traffic, parking, and entry/egress from the facility. It is super orderly and the group does a fantastic job!
