    The blue Anglia in the Friday Gas Classes series is piloted by Don Fournier.

    He was my auto shop teacher at Homestead High School waaaaay back in the mid ’70’s. He has been a drag racer ongoing since the 1950’s.

    This year’s event marks the 50th year since I got my big drag race announcing break at the 1963 MM. And I won’t be there. (sigh) But I will be watching and listening all weekend as the “BangShift Boys” do their thing!
