Ace BangShift.com photo contributor Joe Grippo recently attended the filming of Pinks All Out held May 14-15 at Maple Grove Raceway in Reading, Pennsylvania. Joe was there as a racer in his kick ass Mustang, but managed to cruise the pits and take some great shots from the stands as well.
Whatever your opinion of host Rich Christensen, Pinks All Out makes for some good drag racing television. According to Maple Grove raceway, the 476 drivers at the event made this the largest Pinks All Out yet. We talked to some friends who towed down from New England in an attempt to qualify and they loved it. Seeing a packed house cheering for 10 and 11-second cars is an amazing thing and proves the point that people love good heads-up racing, no matter the pace.
