Event Coverage: The 2015 OPGI Classic Car Show – A Dazzling Array Of Coolness In Seal Beach, California

Last weekend was a beautiful one in Southern California (who would have guessed!?) and that was a good thing because it was also the weekend of the annual OPGI Classic Car Show. The event is held every year to celebrate awesome cars and to raise money for charity, which in the case of the 2015 event was for the Wounded Warrior Project. As you will see there were a fantastic group of cars at the event, which had nearly 300 in attendance. From beautiful restored muscle cars, to drag machines, jaw droppers like the classic Cadillac below with the modern drivetrain, quality was NOT lacking at this event.

As you all know OPGI supplies a vast supply of parts for GM classic cars ranging from Chevelles and Monte Carlos to GTOs, Skylarks, 442s, Riverias, and Cadillacs among a host of others. This is a way for them to throw the doors open, invite their customers or guys who have cool stuff to come in and show off for the crowds that come out and see the best pickins every year.

We always think that it is cool when companies do more than just hang a banner somewhere. It takes effort to put on an event like this and the people that work in that beautiful OPGI building are as hardcore in their love of cars as the people bringing there iron in to show off. We have a ton of photos from this show so expect the coverage to roll for a couple of days. We’ll start with this batch and roll on tomorrow!
