After spending about 15 hours at New England Dragway announcing a major event on Saturday, we were greeted at o’dark-thirty on Sunday by the sight of our two sons (3.5 yrs and 1.5 yrs) excitedly asking us if we were headed to the track for the All-Truck Nationals. As neither of them can read, we believe that the information about the event was forwarded to them. The guilty party? We suspect our wife who does not like large trucks, but does like peace and quiet, which she got plenty of. 

Truth be told, the event was a freaking blast. The truck show was really cool with lots of light duty trucks shined and polished for judging and a gaggle of big rigs in all shapes and sizes looking great. It was very fun to see this event through the eyes of two little kids who genuinely love big trucks.

Aside from the show trucks, there were big rigs and muscle trucks on the drag strip, and a full slate of monster trucks beating the crap out of some junked cars, travel trailers, and whatever else got in their way. The Massachusetts Truck Pullers Association put on a truck pull (which we sadly got no photos of due to complications regarding the management of said toddler companions) that featured several great classes of action as well.
