The 2010 Hot Rod Hoedown held at the Simeone Auto Museum in Philadelphia, Pensylvania was a smashing success. The show is targeted toward cars 1975 and older and due to their loose security measures, BangShift photos contributor Joe Grippo was able to slip in and fire off hundreds of photos featuring the coolest stuff on the grounds. 

The fall is a weirdly stacked period of the year, for shows and events as gearheads, especially those of us in regions without perpetually awesome weather get a last gasp of automotive fun. These events that make up the tail end of the “car season” are normally a hoot!

This show had some of everything from tail dragging Mercury coupes to straight axle ‘Stude Lark gassers! There is some good van love in here as well.
