Bangshifter David Matyjasik recently made the cross-country move from North Carolina to the Puget Sound region of Washington State and from the moment he arrived has been nosing around the area, looking for car-minded people and gatherings. Recently he went to Puyallup to check out the Northwest Rodarama Rod and Custom show. There are plenty of these shows in the area, and the quality of the cars that appear are usually top-tier from around the region. While there’s plenty of good stuff in here, two really stand out for me: the absolutely jaw-dropping Studebaker station wagon with it’s mile-deep green paint, and the turbine-powered Deuce (yes, you read that correctly) stand out. Get out to your local shows…it’s amazing what you might find tucked away in a corner somewhere!
