You couldn’t ask for a better setup: with Whites Creek babbling away behind the cars, the leaves in the trees rustling gently in the wind and a sunset that turned the entire time of the show into a photographer’s “golden hour”, the first Fontanel Mansion Cruise-In of the year opened up in grand style and form. We enjoy the layout and the “sit back and relax” atmosphere of the whole thing…there really isn’t judging, there’s restaurants, a winery-slash-bistro and Pritchard’s Distillery within walking distance, and there isn’t one set group of cars that appear. The mix is always changing, with everything from classic antique automobiles to late-model tuners parking in the grass. The Fontanel grounds are beautiful and as long as you have no issue with parking your car on the lawn you are welcomed in, every Thursday night between now and October 15th this year. I miss the Fontenal. The amphitheater there is awesome. The Earth Wind and Fire show there was sick.
