While most of the country has not quite thawed into spring, Long Beach, California sure did this Sunday. The warm temps and sunny skies bring out SoCal residents like moths to porch lights. Long Beach Swap Meet was packed to the fences. Every vendor space was filled and the car coral/show lot was so stuffed full of classy rides they were turning away people by 8 am. Our own Groucho had to park his beauty ’60 Poncho in the street.
Our intrepid reporter, Scott Liggett aka Rebeldryver, was there to try to sell a car for a friend, but wandered off with camera in hand long enough to snap over a 100 pictures for us Bang Shifters to fawn over. He even found the time to buy a four speed for one of his project rides. We are now fully jealous. So, take a break from scraping the ice off the windshield of your daily driver and shoveling the snow from your yard to follow along with us.
