(Photos by Scott Liggett) – Our man Scott Liggett kicked his Memorial Day weekend off in style with a visit to the famous Bob’s Big Boy Friday night cruise in Toluca Lake, California. He wasn’t the only one with that idea as a massive number of cars showed up and the variety was everything you would expect and more. Why do we say that? Hell the real Batmobile, the one that just sold for like eight bajillion dollars showed up. It drove right into the show with its Gotham plates and all! In addition to that, a real full competition Shelby Cobra was in attendance and the car had race history in both Europe and the USA, holding track records at places like the former Bryar Motorsports Park (now known as New Hampshire International Speedway) and other great American road courses.
On top of that stuff you’ll see iron like the Corvair truck and totally bad ass Pinto (yes, we said bad ass Pinto) below. Scott will be back with another great collection of photos from this event tomorrow, so consider this a warm up act!

I like Bobs on holiday weekends, It was a great turnout. I was finally able to get the Sublime Fairlane further than the Ventura county line. had very light traffic both directions, Hung out with Scott L awhile, all in all a great start to my long weekend.
