(Photos by Scott Liggett) – Yesterday we dropped Scott Liggett’s first gallery from the 2014 Kearney Cruise Nite in your lap and today we’re back with more. See, the entire length of downtown Kearney, Nebraska was filled from end to end with cool cars and by cool cars we mean everything. From old Ford coupes to road racing Mazda Miatas, this was a wide open show and everyone who was there with a car or just dropped by to look at cool stuff certainly got an eye full. Liggett reports that between the setting and the feel of the event, it was one of the better times he has had hanging out with car guys and girls. The local clubs that came en masse must agree because when you see these photos and the people that are in the background of a few they are all smiling.
To us, there is nothing more fitting that seeing a great strip of a small city anywhere in the USA loaded up with hot cars. There was an era when every person ON main street in Kearney probably would have run for it if a group of hot rods showed up. History has cured that fear and the combo of American iron and neat old buildings is perfection when it comes to a show.
