(Photos by Charles Wickam) – It has not been a pleasant couple of weeks in the Houston, Texas area that is for sure. With the amount of rain and the ensuing flooding that has occurred, many people have houses that are soaked and worse. These photos were taken before all of that badness rolled into town and before people were running to the high ground. Charles Wickam stopped by one of his favorite haunts, the Kemah Cruise night which is held just a couple miles from the Wickam estate. The variety this thing brings out is legend. In the photos below you will see everything from the traditional muscles cars you know and love to weirdo French cars and a few sweet bikes as well.
This is what the car hobby is all about to us. Just getting together, having fun, hanging out, and enjoying stuff that you may never want to own but sure love to look at. We wouldn’t mind taking a drive in that Citroen DS just to feel how the hydraulic suspension worked. Oh, and that white 396 Chevelle with the red interior? Holy smokes is that thing cool! A fun night in a cool area of Texas for sure!
