Killer Cruise Gallery: The Forest Lane Reunion Cruise – Dallas, Texas

(Photos by Charles Wickam) – Almost every city in America had a hot cruising spot in the 1970s and early 1980s, then as those cities developed and urban sprawl took over, the cruising spots got swallowed up and people did other things on Friday and Saturday nights. Well, all of those kids who were cruising during the golden age of the pastime  have now reached an age where they’re jonesing to recapture some of their youth by hitting those same circuits they ran around when gas was cheaper and cars were cooler.

One prime example of this is the Forest Lane Reunion cruise outside of Dallas, Texas. Our own Charles Wickam, after shooting a long day of Optima Face Off road course photos decided to interrupt his five hour ride home to shoot more photos at the cruise! The man is a machine! He reported that the cruise night was totally cool and full of bitchin’ cars and trucks. We asked how varied the crowd was and he said he saw a row of low riders rolling in ahead of some giant lifted truck, so that’s pretty much the bookends of the spectrum!

Hit the link below to see Charles’s photos from the cruise night. As usual he knocked it out of the park!
