(Darryl Daniels photos) – Well we have finally made it to the end of the awesome photos that Darryl Daniels shipped us from Australia’s 2016 Leepoofest car show. The event was huge and attended by hundreds and hundreds of car enthusiasts that wanted to see cool iron and soak up the sun. It is interesting and cool that as the American racing and hot rodding season cranks up the Aussie season is winding down for the year. Before the internet we would have never seen these photos, never understood the car culture down there, and never been able to marvel at old hot rods with the steering wheel on the “wrong” side.
A huge thanks to Darryl Daniels for sharing the photos and bringing us this window into the world of car culture and hot rodding on the other side of the planet. We’re firm believers that car guys (and girls) could pretty much run what world without incident if we all just got to the same table and started talking camshafts, blowers, and burnouts. We have lots in common that bridge language and cultural differences. Galleries like this prove it!
