There’s been zero sleep for the BangShift.com crew here at the 2009 PSCA Street Car Super Nationals at The Strip in Las Vegas. The West Coast’s Pacific Street Car Association has thrown this race for five years straight and it keeps getting bigger and more serious. The race is sponsored by Chris Alston’s Chassisworks, it pays big money to win (from $20,000 for Pro Street to $1,000 for the brackets), and pits some East Coast players against the normal PSCA crowd that runs in California and Nevada.

Also, BangShift.com has been following Larry Larson and his ’66 Nova that was named Hot Rod magazine’s Fastest Street Car in America at Drag Week the last two years in a row. He’s run a best-ever 6.93 at 211 mph at the Street Car Super Nationals. We’ll have video of the car on the strip and street coming soon on BangShift.com, so watch for it.
