I don’t care what anyone says, if you drive a big tire car around a fairgrounds, with a blower or injectors sticking out of the hood there isn’t a single soul that won’t turn to look and admire it. Period. It is fact. That alone proves that Pro Street is not dead, even if it isn’t the hottest thing at every car show you find. I for one am tired of seeing everything on the planet trying to be a Pro Touring car though, so I want more Pro Street cars to come back out of hiding that AREN’T located near Duquoin.
Video Description from John Jackson:
I wasn’t supposed to be here! haha
I was in the area to photograph a couple of cars for a calendar, and Tim Strange said he was going to the Nats while we were talking at Custom Car Revival. I’m so glad I decided to go, it was an incredible day, and even with the midwest heat I had a blast walking around the Fairgrounds like I did back in the Day.
Sorry I could only cover half of Saturday, but I had to go scout photoshoot locations. Hopefully next year the schedule will allow me to spend more time because I heard the late-night cruising was awesome.
I hope you enjoy the video as much as I did making it.
