(Photos by Charles Murphree) – For eight years, the Redneck Rumble has been going on as a fun hot rod, rat rod, and kustom show in Tennessee. Featuring cruises, a demo derby, live music, and assorted gearhead hijinx the event has been on a steady growth path for nearly a decade. BangShift Charles Murphree attended the show and brought his camera along for the ride. He sent us a group of about 50 photos that best capture the essence of the event, which doesn’t take itself too seriously. We dig shows where fun is the primary objective of both the organizers and participants.

From radically shortened VW vans like you will see below to the perfectly patina equipped Chevy truck with the bigger diameter smoothie steel wheels, there’s a little taste of the wacky and the cool in this gallery.
