Rodders Journal Revival – Our Last Blast of Awesome Hot Rods and Kustoms!

(Photos by Joe Grippo) – This is our final photo dispatch from the 2013 Rodders Journal Revival and it is the strongest set of photos we have showed you from the event. If you have been living under a rock, the Rodders Journal revival  is an amazing car show held at the Pimlico Race Track in Maryland and this is the second year that it has happened. The show draws the most amazing hot rods, kustoms, old race cars, and and other machines that you have ever seen. Honestly as much as we hate the freaking term, this is like a concours d’elegance featuring bitchin’ stuff that we (and you) love to gawk at.

There are no dumb weirdo rat rods, just amazing stuff from pretty much top to bottom. Joe Grippo sent us 400 some photos to get in front of your eyeballs and we busted them into a couple of galleries to spread the love out a little. This last gallery has a few cars in it that we just cannot get over. The sheer number of machines at this show using small inch early Hemi engines for power is mind blowing as well as the fit and finish of these cars. They range from west coast kustoms to good old fashioned east coast channeled rods that capture their era perfectly…even if they were just built.

The 2013 Rodders Journal Revial was an even larger success than the first one and that is really saying something. We DO NOT want to miss this deal in 2014 and neither do you. Stay tuned for updates because we are going to follow it close!

You know what ? Yes .. the show is a good one . But …. TRJ’s constant badgering me via email and USPS about both this show over the last few months as well as their constant barrage of marketing and sales ploys and the steadily descending quality of the magazine is why after subscribing to TRJ since day one – issue one I’ve finally decided to not renew my subscription as well as discontinuing all Email updates etc .

There is a point of no return when it comes to Gorilla marketing where you are bound to lose a good percentage of your clientele because of it .
