From the looks of it, the 2011 Chicagoland Mopar Club Car Show was a smashing success. Open to all brands, with Mopars being prominently represented, this show had a little of everything. BangShifters Greg Rourke and Bob Chiluk were on hand with their cameras and sent back a dispatch of nearly 200 photos from the event.
There were tons of cool cars at this show, and lots of them were wearing steel wheels for maximum street brawler looks. Heck, a few of the cars in this gallery may by using those steelie mounted drag radials and ET Streets for more nefarious activities during those dark Chicago nights. The illicit street racing scene in the city is hot and heavy…so we’ve heard.

A guy at this event spotted my Bangshift tee shirt, and asked me to shoot his 67 Barracuda he won in a raffle. He must have left before I got over to where he was. If he reads this, I try to work my over each row so I don’t miss anything…hope to catch you next time.
So, what’s the green car that has the crusty-looking 426 in it?
Lots of nice iron at this event. Great pics, guys!
The green car is a Road Runner. Looks like an old street racer, it had a line loc button on the column shifter, and a tiny shift light hidden in the dash.
If I had known you guys were interested, I would have shared my pics too!
