Chad’s announcing gig with the Goodguys Rod and Custom Association brought him to Columbus, Ohio last weekend where he plied the trade on the autocross course. He also took some time to prowl the show and shoot more than 100 photos of both static display cars and others being worked through the autocross course.
Goodguys has really done a nice job of creating shows where there’s lots of stuff going on, lots of vendors and suppliers present, and hundreds if not thousands of show cars on hand. Chad’s work on the autocross course allows him to see lots of owners giving their junk hell, which we’re more an 100% in favor of! You’ll see everything from the typical Pro Touring style car to wild trucks and sideways muscle cars in this gallery.

The high-riding Shelby-ized Trans-Am Mustang? Not so much (maybe it’s just the photo angles, but the “Stang would be better if it was wider (flares instead of mini-tubs)and lower).
