We were so overrun with great galleries from all over the country that I didn’t have a chance to run these photos from the 2013 Boston World of Wheels until now. This year, the show was held in late March and help get everyone in the area ramped up for racing season that technically starts this week! The gathering had a good variety of cars from hot rods to pro street, pro touring, and even a few imports thrown in for good measure. We especially dug the straight axle BMW 2002 with the blown small block in it. The car was very nicely done and looks like a riot to drive.
Among the other highlights were the absolutely stunning 1954 Buick swathed in blue that you’ll see and a couple of really neat hot rods that are from the general area of BS eastern HQ but we’d never seen before. Wonder where they’re hiding the rest of the year? Anyway, we had a good time with the kids cruising the show and it was the perfect bridge from winter glacier season to cruise and race season that’s starting in the next few days.
