Texas Cruise Action From The May 2014 Kemah Cruise – From Mopars To Dune Buggies

Texas Cruise Action From The May 2014 Kemah Cruise – From Mopars To Dune Buggies

(Photos by Charles Wickam) – It has been a couple months since we last checked in on the action from the Kemah Cruise which is held every month down there in Kemah, Texas. Back when Charles and I hung out at the NHRA event in Houston, I stayed in Kemah and cruised right past the spot that this event takes place at every month. Since we have been running photos from it for years, it was pretty neat to see the actual place where the deal goes down. Anyway, Wickam lives like three blocks from this cruise night so he trundled over and shot a highlight reel of photos from the most recent gathering, which took place last week.

While not some multi-thousand car gargantuan, this cruise night always seems to draw out some interesting and cool iron. There are some nice hot rods in here, a couple of super cherry Mopars, and a dune buggy that is fit to attack the sand at any second. Like always, it is a gathering of gearheads more than it is a gathering of any one make, model, or genre of car. We dig the unity and we dig the fact that people can hang out and simply enjoy a lot of varied iron for what it is.
