(Photos by Charles Wickam) – We used to like Charles Wickam, believe it or not. Wickam has been a stalwart BangShift contributor since we started this leaky tuna boat on the ocean of the internet years ago. We now hate him. Nothing personal, really but while he was galavanting around shooting photos of the Kemah cruise, a bad ass mud racing event, and whatever else he saw this weekend, we were kung fu fighting polar bears and dealing with another blizzard here in New England.
Putting our frustrations and the sub-zero temperatures aside, we’re happy that Charles sent us this dispatch from the warm Texas winter because it gives us hope that better conditions are heading our way in a month of so. The Kemah, Texas cruise is one of the event Charles has been shooting for years and we dig it for the same reasons he does. Lots of different cars, trucks, exotics, and muscle all gathered around in a parking lot for the sheer fun of being with like-minded people. This is the “clean” gallery Charles shot over the weekend. Wait until you see the dirty one….
