While the Lone Star Throwdown, one of the biggest truck shows in Texas, was freezing cold earlier this year, the Classic Truck Throwdown was hot, hot, hot. It’s amazing what just a couple months can do, and how different the weather can be even when both weekends are typically nice. But a little heat never slowed anyone down at a truck show in Texas, and the Classic Truck Throwdown proved it. Whatever your taste and style, this is an even that is going to have something for everyone and we dig it.
Thankfully, our friend John Jackson from Not Stock Photos was on hand to catch all the action as the trucks rolled in and out. As usual, he was on site to shoot features and covers for the magazines, but he always manages to get some fun stuff to share. Check it out.

Well it was a Hot One this Year at the Montgomery County Fairgrounds in Conroe Texas even after moving the show back a bit to hopefully catch some cooler weather………but great trucks showed up anyway.
I was supposed to bring the Corvair van but in the middle of the week I got assigned to photograph a calendar for a paint company, and actually had to leave the show in the early afternoon to head east to Louisiana to photograph the first car.
Special thanks to the show promoters for letting me sleep in the sprinter on the show field so I could catch everyone rolling into the show Hope you guys enjoy the video I really wish I could have stayed and got more coverage.
